During our regular opening hours, Base Camp is open for anyone who wants to experience nature spontaneously, without booking in advance.
There is a café offering light snacks, ice cream, coffee and tea, perfect for a break or to round off your day.
Within the area, you have access to several activities and places to explore.
Climb the lookout tower and continue across the suspension bridge, step down into the Underground, or challenge yourself on the “The floor is lava” course. You’ll also find a climbing wall, barbecue areas, sauna, hiking trails, quiz walks and more.
Come for a short visit, stay the whole day, or enjoy an overnight stay at Base Camp, a place to experience at your own pace, surrounded by nature.
For our other adventures and activities, booking is usually required.

Do you have a pre-booked activity? Then the time stated in your booking applies, even if it is outside our regular opening hours. We will of course be there to welcome you when you have a booking.
Please note that the reception is not always staffed throughout our regular opening hours. Sometimes we are out around Base Camp taking care of our guests or making sure everything is in order.
