Job description

As our handyman you get to spend your working days in a beautiful environment with great people from different backgrounds and are you responsible for all daily jobs and repairs in and around Base Camp. This can be putting up an information sign, repairing a leaking tap, painting, or building something completely new. But keeping toilets clean, mowing the lawn, chop wood and picking up guests with the Safari car at the end of the Zipline tour is also one of your tasks.

You work closely with your colleague handyman, the reception and the guides who can help you if you need extra hands. It is also possible that you go in to the course with the safety manager for minor maintenance jobs or repairs. So you should not be afraid of heights. In short, you are the one who ensures that our park looks top notch for our guests. We therefore expect a high level of independence and that you are proactive.

What do we ask from you?

  • Minimum 20 years old
  • Experience as a carpenter, construction worker, gardener, forester, etc. or equivalent technical or DIY experience
  • A valid driver's license
  • Swedish or at least good English language skills
  • Positive, social and physically fit
  • High sense of responsibility and safety
  • Proactive, organized and orderly
  • Team player
  • Energetic and the will to work
  • Available on normal working days and holiday weeks in the pre-season and during weekends and holidays in the high season
