Winter Opening in the Park!
On Saturday the 14th, we open the park for a magical winter day while also soft-launching the season for several of our activities. More premieres and grand openings will follow later during the year.
This is not an ordinary day in the park.
The forest is covered in snow, the ground is crisp with ice, and already upon arrival you will be welcomed by live fires and the scent of burning wood spreading through the winter air. The entire area is filled with a calm, beautiful and genuinely cozy winter atmosphere, far away from everyday stress and noise.
Program & Practical Information
We open at 10:00 and close at 14:00.
Parking is mainly available at the lower parking area. The top parking area is only accessible for four-wheel-drive vehicles, as the hill is both steep and slippery.
Café & Food
The fireplace in the café will be warm and welcoming, and we have prepared plenty of homemade Swedish fika, along with coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
For guests who want to prepare their own food, there is the possibility to: Rent a pre-lit barbecue area including unlimited firewood Pre-order barbecue packages including grill area and everything prepared and ready to cook on site

WinterZip!
On Friday and Saturday we offer one departure per day with limited availability. This is a unique winter experience where you get to enjoy ziplining the Black tour through a snow-covered forest. Advance booking is strongly recommended.
Sauna & Ice Bath, Season Premiere
The sauna will be heated and ready throughout the day and is the perfect complement to the ice bath in the mountain pool, where a refreshing winter dip awaits.

Outdoor Winter Activities
At Little Rock Lake, next to the camping area, we have cleared a skating track on the lake.

Sledding hill
For those seeking more speed: sledding down the first road leading up to Base Camp
(Ability to steer is required – snowracers are recommended. Guests bring their own sled equipment.)
